Mardi le 28 Janvier (english below)

Excusez moi s'il n'y a pas souvent des publications, mais la connexion internet est simplement très mauvaise et lente comme ce n'est pas possible. Donc je vais m'abstenir de mettre des photos, car ça va bloquer :(!

Mon arrivé à Yako / My arrival in Yako (mardi 28 janvier)

Arrivée tard hier en fin de journée  à Yako (6:30), suite à mon trajet de Ouagadougou à Yako, je suis tout de même allé souper chez «au restaurant chez Helene» avec Clémentine de la CECI et Simon (chauffeur pour la CECI). Clémentine m’a suggéré le plat de poulet qui était au menu avec une assiette de frites, ainsi qu’une Brakina (bière locale). Helene quant à elle, a également commandé le poulet, alors que Simon commandait du riz.  La première assiettes de poulet est arrivé quelques 60 minutes plus tard. En regardant l’assiette, je me suis dit qu’ils avaient mis les deux assiettes dans une. Mais lorsque j’ai dit à Clémentine de se servir, elle m’a répondue, bien non, vas- y c’est ton assiette, et moi de lui dire, ha oui, c’est bien gros!!!  Elle me répond en disant, bien quoi, c’est un poulet complet!  J’en ai pas fait de cas et commencer à manger. Comme il était approximativement 9:30 pm il faisait très noir dehors. Nul besoin de vous dire, qu’assis dans une une chaise en pleine rue de terre, quand il fait noir et qu’il y a de la poussière avec le va et vient des motos, ce n’est certainement pas  comme sur une teraase d'un restaurant Montréalais    Une fois rassasié et terminer de manger, Clementine me dit, «t’as fini, on dirait que tu n’as presque pas mangé»! Je lui ai dit que c’était trop, et elle de me dire, «mais tu n’as même pas mangé le cou et le foie!» Il faisait tellement noir que je ne voyais pas ce que je mangeais, mais je peux vous dire que j’étais content de ne pas avoir mangéle cou et le  foie! Je lui ai dit par la suite, que chez nous on ne mange pas cela, que c’est principalement la poitrine et les cuisses. Elle me répond «ha bon»! Nous avons donc terminés de souper et je suis revenu au centre, question d’écrire mon journal de ma journée sur mon blog. Malheureusement, je n’ai pas été en mesure d’accéder à internet car le signal était soit trop faible ou la connexion allait et venait. J’ai donc décidé d’aller me coucher et d’écrire ce blog, qu'aujourd'hui, soir le 30 janvier

My arrival in Yako (Tuesday, 28 January)


Arrived late yesterday in the late afternoon in Yako (6:30 pm), following my journey from Ouagadougou to Yako, I went and had dinner at "Helene Restaurant" with Clémentine of CECI and Simon (driver for CECI). Clementine suggested me the chicken that was on the menu with a plate of fries and a Brakina (local beer). Clementine also ordered, while Simon ordered rice. The first chicken plate arrived some 60 minutes later. Looking trim, I thought they had put the two plates in one. But when I told Clementine to serve herself first, she answered me, no, go ahead it's your plate, and I told her, oh yes, it's big! She replied by saying, well what is a whole chicken! I have not made a case and start eating. As it was about 9:30 pm it was very dark outside. Needless to say, seated in a chair in the middle of dirt road, when it's dark and there was dust with the comings and goings of motorcycles, it is certainly not like siting on a terasse in a montreal restaurant. Once satiated and finish eating, Clementine said, "you're done, it looks like you did not eat a lot! I told her it was too much, and she told me, "but you did not even eat the neck and liver!" It was so dark I could not see what I ate, but I can say that I was glad not to have hit in the neck and liver! I told her later that back home we do not eat it, that it is mainly the chest and wings that we eat. She replied "Really!" So we finished dinner and I returned to the center since I wanted to write my diary of my day on my blog. Unfortunately, I have not been able to access the internet, because the signal is too weak or the connection came and went. So I decided to go to bed and write this blog, the next today, jan 30th!
